More Industrial Buildings for Legion

I photographed these on a lava themed mat because my Industrial mat wasn’t easily available at the time. Anyway, these are mostly Blotz Middle Eastern buildings that I’ve jazzed up with leftover pieces of the MDF sprues. The mini generators at the front are Blotz too. The barricade, front left, is Charlie Foxtrot. The boxes in the middle are plastic cases from printer cartridges.

Here’s a couple of closer pics.

The paint scheme was:
1. Apply gritty masonry paint with a mini roller (use a brush for the awkward bits).
2. Base coat in B&Q Louisville (similar to VMC German Grey).
3. Apply stippled highlights of a range of greys, up to almost white.
4. Pick out details in contrasting colours, e.g. red or orange.

Tester pots are a great way to paint scenic items as they’re much cheaper than model paints.
