Tatooine Buildings

Some 3D prints that I've painted up recently. Here's the recipe: Cover the printed building in textured masonry paint. Prime in any suitable sand colour spray. Base coat with Americana Honey Brown. Wash key areas (near the ground, joins, edges, etc) with diluted Agrax Earthshade. Leave until fully dry then stipple the edges of the washed areas with Honey Brown to better blend in the grimy look. Drybrush with Americana Tan followed by Americana Bleached Bone. The doors, etc were picked out with VMC German Grey followed by VMC Grey Green , then VMC Neutral Grey. I have quite a backlog of Legion figures and scenery to post so hopefully I can catch up with some of this soon. Happy gaming!

Charlie Foxtrot Sci-fi Vents

Charlie Foxtrot has an interesting sci-fi range here . Definitely worth a look! These vents are perfect for that grungy urban techno look. Recipe: Main structure was grey primer followed by VMC Neutral grey, highlighted with GW Celestra Grey. Vents fans are black with a dull silver line. Black struts were simply black followed by a few charcoal highlights. Bases (not complete in this pic): VMC Grey Green, Neutral Grey, and White Grey.

Star Wars Legion Imperial Royal Guard

Some painting at last! Here’s another unit for my Galactic Empire army. Painting recipe: Grey primer Cloak etc, Foundry Conker Brown shade followed by GW Khorne Red then GW Mephiston Red Trousers, GW Screamer Pink Gloves, Foundry Bay Brown triad. Staff, VMC Stone Grey The base colours were washed with Agrax, then base followed by highlights.
