Buildings for our (that is, Orange Dave and me) Battle of Cambrai game at Bovington Tank Museum 12-13th September. All 3D prints.
The buildings were lightly textured with masonry paint, then the sandy areas were painted in the same style as my Mediterranean buildings. The roof on the left was a mix of greys and roof on the right paint recipe is shown below. The green on the cafe is Foundry storm green, the blue shutters are Foundry night sky shade followed by AP stratos blue and wolf grey (similar to the Foundry triad)
There's also a printed Windmill. The wooden areas were sprayed black then lightly dusted with AP leather brown spray. Then drybrush with VMC gold brown followed by a very light drybrush of sand or bleached sand.
The recipe for the brickwork is shown above. Prime with leather brown spray then base coat in burnt red, then drybrush (unevenly) the Foundry brick red shade and mid. Three paints on the right are for a few bricks here and there to provide variety. The render patches (wet filler applied with a finger) were painted sand then bleached sand. Tip - the doors/windows were painted after the base coat of Burnt Red by drybrushing sand then bleached sand and finally a little bit of white - much easier!
The brown/red roof paint recipe.
The grey stone farmhouse has the same roof style as the other farmhouse, whilst the walls were painted in VMC German grey followed by highlights of AP deep grey and uniform grey (I think). The shutters and doors were VMC hull red followed by GW khorne and mephiston reds.
Thanks for looking!
